Overview
As Head of Operations for the Supply Chain Performance department, you will lead a global team to ensure efficient supplier performance. You will establish clear structures and priorities, acting as the main liaison with Sales, Marketing and Operations to boost quality and reliability. You’ll bridge Dutch and Chinese teams, make tough, timely decisions, and align activities with the company’s cross-border ambitions. This role offers impact by shaping supplier relationships, processes, and performance at scale. You will drive cohesion, accountability, and strategic execution across diverse cultures.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Lead, manage, and mentor the cross-border Supply Chain Performance team (Eindhoven and China).
- Establish structures, processes, and priorities guiding daily work and long-term goals.
- Serve as central point of contact for internal departments on supplier performance matters.
- Oversee monitoring and improvement of supplier performance to uphold quality and reliability.
- Bridge cultural and communication gaps between Dutch HQ and Chinese team and suppliers.
- Make decisive judgments on urgent vs. important issues to focus team efforts.
- Travel to the China office 1-2 times per year to foster cohesion and strengthen relationships.

- Dutch professional level (C1-C2) and English professional level (C1).
- Conversational Mandarin and deep understanding of Chinese business culture.
- 3-5 years in a managerial or team-lead role; experience managing a team, preferably international.
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong prioritization in dynamic environments.
- Hands-on leadership with ownership and decision-making capability.
- Willingness to travel internationally (1-2 times per year).
