As an RF/mmWave Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the architecture, design, and integration of Radar Receiver/Transmitter Front-Ends (80-150GHz), including components like LNA, PA, Mixer, LO, Phase shifter, on-chip passive devices, dividers, and amplifiers. These front-ends will be integrated into stand-alone detectors or SoC products.
Your Responsibilities
- Design and integrate high-performance RF/mmWave IPs/ICs
- Verify and validate system functionality and performance
- Ensure compliance with automotive constraints such as ESD, interference, and functional safety
- Supervise and collaborate on floor-planning, layout, and integration
- Model IP/System in analog design environments
- Participate in multi-competence and multisite project teams
- Own IP development, lead technical teams, and communicate effectively

The Radar team in Eindhoven is rapidly expanding, focusing on Radar Front-end, mmWave, and Analog Mixed Signal Design. The team contributes to key NXP projects, working on cutting-edge IP, and is recognized at conferences. Members work in a high-energy, collaborative environment, closely collaborating with global teams.
Your profile
To succeed in this role, you have:
- An MSc or PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- 2-5 years of experience in RF design for Automotive Radar and/or telecommunications (80-150 GHz)
- Experience with IC design aspects such as Tx, Rx, LNA, PA, Mixer, LO in high-performance environments
- Knowledge of CMOS process parameters (40nm, 28nm, 16nm, etc.)
- Proficiency with IC design tools like Spectre, AMS Verilog, Agilent ADS, Momentum, etc.
Additionally, you are:
- Possess good communication skills and aspire to grow in technical leadership
