Manufacturing Engineer NPI
As a Manufacturing Engineer NPI, you will act as the representative of the production department, bridging the gap between customers, R&D, and production teams. Your role is crucial in ensuring that products are manufactured and assembled correctly from the start.
Leveraging your technical expertise and experience with complex assembly processes, you will assess the feasibility of new product and process designs. You will either lead or participate in a cross-functional team (including quality, R&D, engineering, purchasing, work preparation, production) to achieve optimal results.
You will also manage change requests, conduct risk assessments, and create user manuals and work instructions for operators.
Our clients are in sectors such as semiconductor, complex machinery, automotive, healthcare, and aerospace.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in engineering roles within complex manufacturing and assembly projects.
- Proficiency in Design for Manufacturing, Design for Assembly, FMEA, 8D, SPC, and creating work instructions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (confident, persuasive, proactive, stakeholder management).
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
