Overview
In this role you will support the financial accounting activities of the EMEA Shared Services Center, enabling timely, accurate monthly closes and robust balance sheet control. You work with cross-border entities to standardize processes, manage reconciliations, and assist audits. You’ll drive improvements in close, reporting, and statutory processes, while handling ad-hoc accounting projects. This is a hands-on position that blends technical detail with strategic process enhancement, within a collaborative, growth minded team.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Manage monthly close for chosen entities, including standard and non-standard journal postings
- Review and post month-end accruals and payroll data with supporting documentation
- Prepare and present balance sheet reconciliations and flux to management and auditors
- Coordinate internal and external audits for assigned entities
- Review foreign currency revaluations and FX exposure impacts at month-end
- Prepare local statutory financial statements and tax packs, and support audits
- Drive process improvements, standardization, automation, and quality across close, reconciliation, and reporting
- Support internal control mechanisms and participate in SOX field work as SME
- Assist with ad-hoc accounting projects including system upgrades and controls testing
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Accounting associate or bachelor’s degree
- 4-6 years of accounting experience in an international/US organization
- Experience with month-end reporting and reconciliations for multiple European entities
- Working knowledge of US GAAP and compliance for listed international companies (EMEA)
- Hands-on, detail-oriented with ability to balance tactical and strategic tasks
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Office with strong Excel skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage fluctuating workloads while delivering accurate data
- Strong communication and presentation skills; team player; fluent in English
