Overview
In this role you provide expert legal guidance on corporate governance, company law and related governance matters across regions. You will shape and enhance governance frameworks, policies and controls to support effective oversight and risk management. You’ll advise on complex governance and structuring across jurisdictions and help drive strategic initiatives and organisational change with autonomy. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align practices with legal requirements, delivering measurable governance improvements and legal excellence.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Provide legal advice on corporate governance, company law and related governance matters
- Drive ongoing enhancement of governance frameworks, policies and controls
- Advise on and resolve complex governance and corporate structuring matters across jurisdictions
- Coordinate stakeholders to align governance standards and practices
- Support governance oversight and legal entity governance reporting
- Offer legal and governance expertise to strategic initiatives and transformation efforts
- Act as a subject matter expert guiding junior colleagues
- Foster collaboration across the Legal network with shared responsibility and aligned ways of working
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 10 years+ experience advising on corporate governance and company law
- Strong understanding of governance principles, legal entity management and regulatory requirements
- Experience designing and enhancing governance frameworks, policies, processes and controls
- Proven ability to apply legal judgement to complex governance matters
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Experience advising on governance in strategic governance, transformation or organisational change initiatives
- Ability to operate autonomously in complex, evolving environments
- Fluent in English and Dutch
