Overview
In this role you provide commercially guided legal support for insurance, complex transactions, and strategic initiatives across markets. You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams to align structure and strategy, shaping negotiations for key supplier relationships and complex agreements. You’ll advise on data, privacy, and regulatory issues, and resolve novel legal questions while balancing risk with business goals. You’ll develop scalable legal practices and templates, and mentor peers to foster a collaborative legal network.

- Lead legal support for insurance, complex transactions, and strategic initiatives across markets
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to align on structure, strategy, and execution
- Shape negotiation approaches for complex commercial agreements and key supplier relationships
- Provide guidance on data, privacy, and regulatory considerations in business activities
- Resolve complex or novel legal issues requiring judgment across multiple disciplines
- Influence stakeholders to drive commercially sound and customer-focused decisions
- Support development of legal frameworks, templates, and consistent ways of working
- Partner with the commercial domain to deliver practical, scalable legal solutions
- Mentor peers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the Legal function
- Foster strong collaboration across the Legal network by encouraging shared responsibility and aligned ways of working
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Masters degree in Law (recognised jurisdiction)
- Significant experience in commercial, corporate, or transactional law
- Experience advising on complex, cross-border legal matters
- Knowledge and/or experience in insurance topics or willingness to gain
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous and complex environments
- Commercial awareness balancing legal risk and business objectives
- Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional initiatives
