Base pay range

This Is What We Offer You

  • Gross monthly salary between EUR 4,516 and EUR 6,449 (scale 09) for a 36 hour week

We are currently looking for an Automation Tester within Area Data. Models, Analytics & Calculations within the Housing tribe.

You and your job

We are very curious about what you can bring to our team Datawizards at the Area Data Models Analytics & Calculations of Tribe Housing in the role of Automation Tester!

  • Area Data. Models, Analytics & Calculations within the Housing tribe is responsible for the data logistic chain within the lending domain, models, analytics and complex calculations.
  • Datawizards squad purpose is to facilitate seamless access to mortgage-related data within the bank by serving as the single-point-of-contact for taking in external data and deliver structural data requests to external stakeholders (e.g., BKR, KCAF, NHG).
  • We standardize and manage the Tribe Housing GDAP data library, providing robust support and develop Information Factories and building pipelines based on GDAP data streams.

As an Automation Tester, you will also be challenging and advising the team on what is needed to develop team maturity in quality aspects. You will ensure high-quality products, working in Agile/Scrum settings, and prevent bugs or defects from impacting Sprint goal delivery.

You will highlight quality risks, contribute to achieving ambitious objectives, and help establish a clear test strategy within the department by participating in the Test Guild. You are a proactive team player, coordinating backlog and priorities with stakeholders, and engaging in continuous improvement processes. You should be self-aware, leveraging your strengths effectively, and capable of working as a T-shaped team member as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for ETL processes in ADF and Databricks.
  • Build and maintain the automated test framework for ETL processes.
  • Develop and maintain test strategy, test plans, test cases, and test data.
  • Collaborate with developers to understand ETL requirements and workflows.
  • Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and ensure data accuracy.
  • Perform root cause analysis of test failures and work with the development team to resolve issues.
  • Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes.
  • Document and report test results, providing clear and actionable feedback to the team.

You and your talent

  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an ETL Automation Tester.
  • Azure certification such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals.
  • ISTQB and/or CAST certification.
  • Knowledge of Azure services and infrastructure.
  • Proven experience in ETL testing, especially with ADF and Databricks.
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for test automation.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  • Good understanding of file formats like XML, JSON, YAML.
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Experience working with multicultural teams is a plus.
