Overview
In this Solutions Engineer role, you will bridge technology solutions with customer needs during pre-sales, acting as a trusted advisor to corporate customers. You’ll partner with sales, product, and engineering to design and communicate GitHub Enterprise solutions that drive product adoption and business impact. You’ll lead demonstrations, educate on integration and usage, and influence product strategy with customer feedback. The role supports DevOps, AI-powered development, and security initiatives at scale, across a remote-first European team.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Develop and maintain technical relationships with business customers during pre-sales to ensure satisfaction and adoption
- Collaborate with Corporate Sales to identify requirements, map to features, and deliver live GitHub Enterprise demos
- Serve as a liaison between sales and technical teams, feeding customer feedback into product strategy and knowledge bases
- Educate prospects on implementation and usage, advocating for customer needs within GitHub
- Advise on integrating GitHub with existing tools and workflows, guiding DevOps pipelines, code deployment, AI adoption
- Monitor SCM industry trends and contribute to internal and customer documentation
- Articulate value of DevOps, DevSecOps and AI-powered development platform through presentations and documentation
- Lead initiatives to improve customer success and retention via best practices and customer workshops/training
- Contribute to sales strategies with technical insights and competitive analysis
- Support marketing and customer skilling initiatives with live platform demonstrations for customers
- Build broad knowledge of GitHub products, solutions, and industry context to address customer priorities and threats
- Collaborate with technical teams to resolve challenges and act as voice of the customer to internal teams
- Develop content for marketing events and assemble distribution materials under guidance
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 4+ years in technical consulting, technical consultative selling, or related experience, OR Bachelor’s in CS/IT/Engineering plus 2+ years in related field, OR Master’s in CS/IT/Engineering, OR equivalent experience
- Proficiency in enterprise software development and application security including SAST, DAST, and SCA tools, with understanding of GitHub Advanced Security and CodeQL
