One of our favourite FMCG clients is looking for a Training and Development Project Manager – Supply Chain for a one-year assignment. The position is based in the Eindhoven Area (on-site, 5 days a week).
Training and Development Project Manager – Supply Chain
The Training and Development Project Manager will join the Supply Training department and play a crucial role in coordinating and implementing comprehensive training programs for our operations team. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to manage the sometimes complex planning and execution of training sessions, ensuring they align with organizational goals. This role involves planning and scheduling training sessions in collaboration with team leaders and specific departments like Quality & Food Safety (Q&FS) and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) who will be creating training materials, booking suitable venues, and handling various administrative tasks. Additionally, scheduling the validation sessions is part of the job.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and scheduling of training sessions in collaboration with team leaders, labor planning, and the departments Q&FS and HSE.
- Oversee the development and creation of training materials and programs.
- Manage the booking and coordination of suitable training venues.
- Maintain and update attendance records in the system.
- Perform administrative tasks related to training sessions.
- Validate and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards in all training activities.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to improve training effectiveness.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in using project management tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in training and development.
- Knowledge of supply chain operations.
- Familiarity with administrative processes and systems.
- Understanding of quality and safety standards and regulations.
Details:
- Start date: As soon as possible
- Working hours: Full-time
- 1 year contract, contract-based with option to extend
Required Languages:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Dutch.
